Pentre-Bach

Pentre Bach is situated in a beautiful valley at the foot of the magnificent Berwyn Nature Reserve and mountains in south-east Snowdonia. It is surrounded by its own fields and woodland in countryside which stretches down to its own river frontage. Guests are able to relax in the natural tranquility but may also enjoy walking from here in the river Dee Valley or up in the 3000ft peaks above us.The guest bedroom has its own entrance by way of a rustic oak staircase leading up to a balcony with stunning far reaching views. A lovely spacious room with a very comfortable super king bed which can be separated to form two twin beds. It has en-suite shower w.c. and washbasin. The lounge area has two easy chairs coffee table hospitality tray and television.

Built in 1888 as the family home of the Sheriff of Denbigh this fascinating courtyard house nestles in the wooded slopes of the Berwyns on the edge of Corwen between Betws-y-Coed Llangollen and Bala. The 19th century splendour of our William Morris decor is complemented by 21st century services including free wireless internet access. We have terraced gardens and woodlands to explore. Food and Beverage Room service and residents’ licence. Informal a la carte dining for groups of 8-18 (booking essential). Travel information We are on the eastern edge of Corwen directly off the A5 you can easily find us on Google Maps with street view. and look for our signs Do not try to turn left into Edge House from the A5 it can’t be done!

Y Llwyn Guest House

Y Llwyn Guest House’ is a 4 star establishment in the picturesque village of Llandrillo on the B4401 on the outskirts of Bala with its natural lake the largest in Wales well known for it’s water sports and 15min. from the Canolfan Tryweryn Raffting and Canoeing Centre’ on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park.Bedrooms overlook the Berwyn’ mountains and green fields with plenty of public footpaths. The area is renowned for it’s natural beauty. We have two highly recommended restaurants and a pub that serve meals in the village all year and a shoppost office.

Hafannedd

17th century converted woollen mill on the banks of the River Clwyd between Ruthin and Corwen. Hafannedd is located on the A494 at the heart of three outstandingly beautiful areas; the Dee Valley Clwydian Range and the Snowdonia National Park. The historic city of Chester is an easy 40-minute drive away. We have two self-catering apartments the Studio and the Mill (both sleep up to 5) available within the former mill building and the Cottage (sleeps up to 4) in the grounds. The grounds extend to almost 2 acres and include a paddock for games a barbecue area and ample outside seating. The Studio occupies the top floor of the former mill and consists of one large studio room with one or two separate bedrooms bathroom and extra toilet; it has an independent external staircase entrance. The Studio also contains a TVDVDCD player and kitchen area with refrigerator microwave sink and hob. The Mill contains two or three bedrooms and having access with no steps and a ‘sitting bath’ and shower is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. It also has a lounge with TVDVDCD player and a kitchen with sink cooker microwave refrigerator etc The Cottage contains two bedrooms (double and twin) and downstairs a through lounge with TVDVDCD player and a kitchen with sink cooker microwave refrigerator etc. A particular feature of the Cottage is the deck overlooking the river (see photos). The communal area serves all units and includes storage roomdrying area with washer and a computer printer and scanner with broadband connection for guest use. WiFi is available throughout the building and grounds. The property is fully centrally heated and all units also have wood-burning stoves. There is ample private parking within the grounds. Prices shown are per unit and fully inclusive of all linen towels fuel electricity and basic foodstuffs – more than enough for breakfasts or a snack on arrival. Bookings can be made for exactly the period you want with a minimum of two nights at any time of the year. Please note we CANNOT accept bookings from single sex groups.
