A beautiful Grade II listed building described as ‘a little castle’ dating back to 1706 set in two acres. Our seven bedrooms have been designed and furnished to a very high standard. All rooms have flat screen TV DVD radio alarm clock courtesy tray broadband safe iron robes slippers and hairdryer. We have one ground floor room offering easy access. All rooms have en-suite facilities and lots of fluffy towels. Our drawing room has lovely large sofas plenty of books dvds and a well stocked ‘honesty bar’ The local pub is a four minute stroll from the house and offers a full dinner menu. We can also help with recommending other local restaurants. An ideal venue for: weddings and civil ceremonies house parties (chef can be arranged) business meetings and exclusive use available. We are fully licensed. Excellent location for many activities e.g.: walking golf shooting fishing climbing tennis dry slope skiing sailing castles historic houses and much more!

Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast ( BandB ) accommodation is a large 135 year old Victorian Conwy House which has been lovingly renovated into a ‘Visit Wales’ 4 Star Boutique Guest House offering beautifully decorated comfortable bed and breakfast ( BandB ) accommodation within the historical town walls of Conwy. All of which have en-suite facilities except for one room which has its own separate private bathroom. Bryn Corach situated in the world heritage town of Conwy has magnificent views across the bay to the Great Orme and up the Conwy River to the peaks of Snowdonia. The country house designated as non-smoking has 48 bedrooms of which 28 are en-suite . Some rooms with TV are available on a request basis.All rooms have hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can relax in the three lounges large conservatory or play croquet outdoors there is no bar available. Breakfast is served in an informal friendly atmosphere in the lounge. No evening meals available. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. Free car parking is available. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm.Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. The country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. Conwy castle is within walking distance of the country house and Penryhn castle and Chester Zoo are within an hours drive. Please note a 1.5% credit card fee applies to payments by credit card and debit cards issued outside of the UK.

The Lion a 400-year-old country inn in the beautiful and tranquil village of Gwytherin (home of St Winifred and the 1st Cadfael novel) now completely refurbished to provide 6 Bedrooms (all en-suite) of the highest quality featuring hand made furniture traditional Welsh woollen throws and sumptuous pocket sprung beds. FreeSat flat screen TV DVD player and free WiFi are on hand if you have time after enjoying the wonderful scenery and natural attractions this part of the world has to offer. All the bedrooms have countryside views and a full Welsh breakfast will set you up for the day. Many guests stay at the Lion solely to enjoy Fionas’ cooking an imaginative changing evening meal Menu that brings out the very best from the wonderful locally reared and grown produce. There is also a Locals bar with a huge open fireplace low Beams comfy seating and local real Ale.. The Bar and Restaurant are open Wednesday through Sunday evenings (booking advisable in high season essential in low season). An evening meal can be provided (pre booked) for staying guests on Tuesday evenings however Monday night bookings are on B and B terms only. The Lion is a marvelous base for exploring North Wales on the edge of Snowdonia the inn is a 30-minute drive from Mount Snowdon itself and the same time will take you to the coastal resort of LLandudno. Historic luxury Manor House in the perfect mountain setting close to the sea. It stands in 9 acres of grounds and gardens pond with ducks and guese paddocks and stables quiet rural location yet only 3 miles from Conwy. All rooms furnished in a delightful period style. Glyn Isa (meaning lower valley) 17th Century Country House Bed and Breakfast is privately owned and has 5 individually designed beautifully appointed doublefour poster en suite rooms all of which are pictured in the photo gallery. The house is one mile from Rowen village near Conwy and dates back to 1626 . It is set in 10 acres of mature gardens and land against a backdrop of mountains on the edge of Snowdonia National Park with lovely views over the Conwy valley just next to a fishing lake and Dutch Pancake House.The house retains many of its original features antiques beams and open inglenook fireplaces. This is a peaceful spot but the medieval walled town of Conwy with Edward 1st 13th Century castle plus many shops bars and restaurants is 3 miles and Llandudno with more shops bars and restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away. The award winning village of Rowen is 1 mile or 15 minute easy walk where you will find quaint cottages beautiful gardens a post office and a great village pub which hosts its famous Welsh singing every Friday night. Or you could stroll to our other local eatery an Egon Ronay 16th Century Coaching inn also a 15 minute walk.Smartcasual dress please and sorry no children or pets.
